"Doing" the HandMade Market:

10 tips on how to have the best experience!

TIP #1: Bring your Christmas Gift List! With 85+ artisans, you’ll find something for everyone... and a few things for you!

TIP #2: Wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. The market is outside and even though we’ve got heaters in the tents, November is chilly ... it’s Canada folks! The market runs in all weather.

TIP #3: Park and ride the free school bus shuttle from the Jordan Lion's Park / Jordan Arena on 4th Avenue. Parking and shuttle are free. There is no parking at Honsberger. Limited accessible parking is available directly at Honsberger.

TIP #4: Our Christmas market is our most popular so consider visiting during off-peak hours ... Friday and Sunday (anytime) or Saturday before 11:00 and after 2:30pm.

TIP #5: If you have a stroller, consider making use of the designated stroller parking areas outside of the tents, if that works for you.

TIP #6: Sip a glass of wine while you shop. Enough said.

TIP #7: Bring cash. If you forget, it’s okay .. we do have an ATM on site. Some artisans may take credit cards.

TIP #8: Don’t miss the Sip and Savour Culinary Barn! We’ve brought together a collection of very talented culinary artisans and put them all under one roof. Find some great gifts for the foodies on your Christmas list!

TIP #9: Leave room for lunch. We have gourmet food trucks and fresh pizza baked to order from Honsberger’s outdoor wood-fired oven!

TIP #10: Relax, slow down and enjoy the experience! You are supporting small local artisanal businesses. No wonder you feel all warm and fuzzy! (Or is that the wine?) Either way, it’s all good!
